We’re posting a job for a .Net developer. I’m looking for suggestions on national job boards to post on. For reasons I don’t remotely understand, we can’t post on dice.com, which seemed to be a consensus the last time I asked. Any suggestions?

The glass in our shower door cracked, so I called around yesterday looking for replacement glass. First I tried a place we’ve used twice before, including the time our cat jumped through a window. He was backed up and short on help, so 4 to 5 weeks. He recommended somewhere else. $225, they quoted me. [...]

Of all the various services that make some attempt to derive my location based on my IP, you’d think that our cable modem provider could figure it out. Why do I have to type in my stupid zip code to get somewhere? Shouldn’t the site know it’s own customer?
